middle name for Gabriel

Any thoughts on a middle name for Gabriel?
I like names that are not too commonly used, but not too outlandish either! I have suggested Tobias or Jude as a middle name, but DH not too keen! Doesn't have any of his own suggestions… Any thoughts welcome :-)

I love Jude. Or Theo. I think Gabriel James is a good name but James is probably less outlandish and too commonly used for you! I'm less use than a chocolate teapot!

I came on to say Gabriel James! Gabriel Arthur is good too. The others are trying too hard to be different IMO.

Also, today my Mum suggested Gabriel Herbert, as Herbert was her father and grandfather's name. I am tempted, but do you think it's too old fashioned/strange sounding?

I like lots of these, esp. Alexander & Frederick. But DH is proving so tricky on this one, rejecting most! Based on names he doesn't mind as much, the shortlist is now:

Gabriel Felix
Gabriel Kaspar (linked to our joint Dutch heritage)
Gabriel Laurence
Gabriel Tobias

Not sure about any of these, though, tbh, esp. as surname is Stokes, so a name ending in an 's' sound might make it hard to say… I think Felix might be my favourite, as it means 'happy'. But then there's Felix the cat!
