What do you think?
My DD is Clara and I want something similar, i.e. classic but not common.

Hate it. Can't imagine a cool teen/adult called Wilfred. He'll always live at home with his mummy.

I quite like Clara though (shame she's got a much nicer name than her brother...)

It depends if he has the personality to carry it off - Clara won't have that problem.

I know several and it's one of my fave boys names. Go for it! Wilf is best nn IMO

I love Wilfred, Wilf is a great nickname.

It is if you are not a cool teen that Wilfred is a problem. You can't tell from looking at a baby.
