We have come up with a boy's name but I can't agree with DH on a girl's name. He is Indian I am white British so DD is called Asha Kathleen. We wanted an Indian name but one which was short & easily spelt & Kathleen is after my grandmother.
For DC2 would go Indian or English but don't think traditional English like Elizabeth would really work. He really likes Kiera but I am not convinced so need other suggestions please!

I knew an Asha and Nina (may have been Neena?) at school - a lovely combination I think.

Nina would indeed be perfect. Nia also lovely.

I really like Pria (sp?)

I also love (although not Indian origin) Veda, from My Girl.

Elizabeth would make a nice middle name,as Kathleen is very traditional.

Leela and Neela are two of the prettiest names I've heard, and they're both Indian origin I believe? (Sorry if I'm wrong)
