Boys names - help needed!!!

Hi. Our gorgeous boy was born last Sunday & still doesn't have a name!! We didn't know what we were having so couldn't 'fix' on a boy or girl name.
Boy short list So far is:

William
Charles/charlie
Gillespie
Jacob
Edward
Evan
Jerry
Joseph
Keaton
Daniel
Edward
Gabriel
Thomas /tommy
Reginald/reggie
Mitchell

So we have no clue!! Getting one where the full name and the nick name are good is tricky. All help/ideas welcome!!

Like. William, Tommy, Gillespie Edward, Reggie,Gabriel, Keaton
Dislike. Charlie, Jacob, Evan, Jerry, Joseph, Daniel, Mitchell.
Just my opinion though

Have you got a mn picked? What does surname start with?

On your list I like Joseph best, then William. Joseph isn't used enough imo.

I love William nn Will, Joseph nn Joe, Daniel nn Dan, and Edward with either Ed, Ted or Ned.

All those are fantastic IMO.

On the basis that you've written Edward twice, I'd say that's your subconscious telling you which name to go for!

Great name. Can be Edward when a formal name is required or Ted, Teddy, Ned, Ed, Eddie, Woody etc for short.

Like: Will (not William), Edward, Thomas and Daniel.
Not so keen on: Gillespie, Jerry, Keaton, Mitchell and Gabriel.

Love the name tommy ! Would be the name for my hypothetical dc3 should he be a boy . Edward is a great name too

Agree with pp - Edward with nn Ted/Teddy/Bear. Definitely best name on the list. Second choice would be Daniel.
