Don't know the gender yet but I'm convinced it's a girl.

DH doesn't like any name that's too popular. I like Ava and River but he's not keen on those either (too popular, too hippy).

We like old fashioned but unusual names. British names only, welsh, English and Scottish particularly (sorry Ireland, you're just not in our heritage).

Thank you! I love Iona, Marianne and Beatrice. But Iona rhymes with loner and I always think about playground teasing. Marianne I considered but thought it sounded very American? Maybe just because of the Leonard Cohen song, and DH doesn't like Beatrice.

I really like Seren. Is it pronounced like seven?
