Which one...?

Hi all we've managed to get it down to 3 names now thanks to the help of you:)
Once she finally decides to make an appearance she'll either be:

Fallon Nicola
Elise Nicola
Everly Nicola

Which do people prefer? What nickname could you give her if we went with Elise? Everly would be Evie and Fallon not sure at all any help would be grateful x

Elise is fine. The other two are hideous.

They are all lovely.. I would wait and see which suits her best now, it wont b long.
If i was made to choose i think Fallon nicola flows better but i like elise aswell. Not keen on everly but go with what you like. Good luck, let us know her name when she arrives.

Else is the only one I have heard of but I actually think Everly sounds like a lovely name, it has all the good bits of Beverly but not the ugly B. I don't think Evie sounds like a natural nickname of Everly as they have completely different E sounds unless I am pronouncing it wrong, Ever isn't the worst nickname though.

Don't like Fallon at all, I would guess it was a boys name.

Fallon makes me think felon. Like Elise, not sure on Everly at all.

And nickname wise for Elise I would use Elle.

Its the OH thats pushing for Fallon, but im not sure if it sounds abit tom-boyish? if that makes any sense? I want something girlier really but now i dont know if Elise and Everly fit that :/ x

I'm obviously going to suggest Everly...again! Evie as the nickname would be great. Lissey would be a nice nickname for Elise. Fallon is lovely, too, but I can't think of a nickname. You might find yourself saying "Falley" (like 'valley') out of cuteness but wouldn't really be a proper nickname. I think the above suggestion is good...have a good look at her and see which one feels right! Good luck!

When I pronounce Evie I say "Eh-vee" not "Ee-vee" which then makes the same Eh sound like Everly, so could work as a nickname like that.

good thinking i like Evie pronounced eh-vee actually! Completely different then, i think Everly is becoming my favourite! Which spelling do you prefer?

My daughter is Evelyn and we call her Evie (to rhyme with heavy, not eee- vee) I love it apparently it's the French pronunciation.

I would use the spelling Everley.

Yes im liking it the Everley spelling more and more now i think about it! And i think ive fallen for that name over the others.... now just to get the OH to agree thats THE one and not Fallon!
We were considering Evelyn too but OH preferred Everley.

to be honest i didn't even know who the everly brothers were..i had to look them up! lol
Its definitely between Everley and Elise, think ive gone off Fallon completely now lol.

I know an Every whose folks regret the name as everyone keepos getting it wrong.

I named my DC something that had same pronunciation issues and changed it so would advise against for this reason.

Therefore I go with Elise.
