Sofia is a Disney Princess but Saffron makes me think AbFab, and Princesses are alright. Wink I like Sofia Rose.

Thea Saffron or Thea Rose

I love Thea, are you pronouncing it theea to rhyme with fear or taya to rhyme with may a?

Sundaedelight · 23/09/2014 17:00

Saffron - more unusual than Sofia these days. Saffron Thea is beautiful.

DecaffTastesWeird · 23/09/2014 17:00

Saffron Thea.

Molotov · 23/09/2014 17:09

Lovely choices OP. Personally, I would choose Sophia Rose.

Alternatively, there is the Arabic (I think) form: Safiyyah. I think that loosely connects Sophia and Saffron, in terms of sound at least Smile

Molotov · 23/09/2014 17:09

*Sofia Rose

kdyment88 · 23/09/2014 17:19

Molotov - yes I have heard of a Saphia spelt that way .. maybe that is a thought as Safia Rose sounds lovely without being so popular as 'Sofia' Thanks :)

Sofia Rose.

CruCru · 23/09/2014 20:19

Saffron Thea. People will misspell Sofia as Sophia which may irritate you.

Frikadellen · 23/09/2014 20:24

Saffron Thea Just love Saffron as a name

wigglesrock · 23/09/2014 21:59

They're both lovely, I have a Sofia so it'll get my vote Smile. She's 9 now and I still love her name as much as I did when we picked it.

DramaAlpaca · 23/09/2014 22:12

Saffron Rose or Sofia Rose, although I'd prefer Sophia Rose.

What do people think of ...

Saffron Lucia

??

I have always loved the name Lucia as my mother is half Italian but would not use it as a first name as it often gets mis pronounced. Or do you think we should stick with Saffron Thea ?

Thanks for all your comments :) a real help x
