I'm starting to panic slightly as not only do we not have a boys name, our shortlists seem to be poles apart!
I like Celtic names, my current favourites are Lachlan, Cathal, Tiernon, Rhys, Finn, Fionan, Darragh but DH prefers more classical/royal names like William, Charles, Henry etc
Need help finding middle ground please!

I like Rhys, it takes me back to my Welsh primary school.

Ruaridh/Ruari (pronounced Roo-ri) or Rory.
How about Finlay/Findlay as a more traditional name to fit your DH's tastes but nickname Fin/Finn to fit your's?

Aidan?
