I really like it, I used to know a Jesse and I remember at the time thinking I will steel that when I have dc, but too many other names had turned my head by then, I would use it tho.

Jesse just makes me think Jessica. I would never recommend it, but I think it sounds okay on a boy once you realise it is actually a boy.

The name combo works well.
