Bunny.
After Kieran (babies father) apparently decided against Duchess or Duchess Kate.

It's not too bad.

I mean, it's daft as a brush but still a million miles better than Princess Tiiami or whatever the older lass is lumbered with.

The boys have all got bearable names - even Junior and Jett are ok. Why do the girls get lumbered with fluffy crap?

ajandjjmum · 15/09/2014 18:10

The fact she'd had her other baby completely passed me by. Is there 12 months between the youngest two?

squoosh · 15/09/2014 19:26

It's a posh gel's nickname along the lines of Binky and Tiggy and Titty.

Wouldn't be my bag.

squoosh · 15/09/2014 19:29

'Why do the girls get lumbered with fluffy crap?'

Women who drive pink range rovers tend to be into fluff.

Cannotbelieveit · 15/09/2014 19:32

It's fine and up to her anyway! Both my DS's names got flamed on here but get nothing but compliments when we are out and about

mrsmaturin · 15/09/2014 19:46

Yes it was kind of a rhetorical question Squoosh Grin

Tomfunsnumber1trolley · 15/09/2014 21:39

What's this about the Beckham kids have different names at home? (Sorry, slight hijack!)

Bunny is awful but agree not as bad as Princess Tiami

TheMidnightCrew · 15/09/2014 21:46

I find this pretty funny.Shock

SweetFelicityArkwright · 15/09/2014 21:56

I know Bunny Guinness slightly and she certainly can carry off being called Bunny but I do think her poshness helps. It isn't her real name though, it's a childhood nickname based on her real name.

Alisvolatpropiis · 15/09/2014 22:05

Speaking of "stage names" for celeb kids. North West. That is so not her real name. Kanye takes himself far too seriously to name his child something so ludicrous but is definitely the kind of celebrity who would enjoy "fooling" the media. I bet she's called Sophia or something similarly lovely but utterly normal.

Paltrow's Apple and Moses are candidates for being called Sarah and David in reality, I reckon.

Don't think the Beckhams children's names are fake though. They're unusual but not ridiculous names.

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 15/09/2014 22:10

I actually quite like it. It's nice girly and cutesy. The sort of names I go for.

namelessposter · 15/09/2014 22:16

My daughter's (well established, better known than her real name) is Bunny. Just so-as-ya-know...

Alisvolatpropiis · 15/09/2014 22:32

That's like Binky from Made in Chelsea nameless. Her real name is Alexandra but everyone calls her Binky, especially now she's on a reality tv show.

MrsBungle · 15/09/2014 22:41

It sounds upper-class nickname to me. I don't like it but it's a damn site better than duchess kate Shock

Anotherchapter · 15/09/2014 22:43

There is a girl near me called pebbles -

nipersvest · 15/09/2014 22:43

showing my age here, but the name just makes me think of the bar in 'young doctors'

Panzee · 15/09/2014 22:46

That book is ringing a huge bell with me. Need to find it.

Remember Bunny from Eldorado? :o

Alisvolatpropiis · 15/09/2014 22:48

It also makes me think of The Secret History. Granted that Bunny was male.

rockybalboa · 15/09/2014 22:57

Compared to the other alleged choices of Duchess Kate (wtactualf?!?) or Disney, Bunny seems relatively tame. I guess it's quite a sweet name really.

EugenesAxe · 15/09/2014 23:30

I bloody hate the name Bear. I know Bear Grylls has it and everything, but I've always assumed it was some sort of stage name given what he does... sounds a bit like 'bear growls'; outdoorsy.

But on topic, I agree with Tomfuns' last comment.

Alisvolatpropiis · 15/09/2014 23:35

Bear Grylls name isn't really Bear. It's Edward. So I suppose, Bear is an evolved nickname from his birth name.

Also totally does sound like Bear growls! Grin

Lweji · 15/09/2014 23:36

Bear in Bear Grylls is a nickname.

FamiliesShareGerms · 15/09/2014 23:37

Charlotte's ex MiL in SATC??

ememem84 · 15/09/2014 23:46

My great aunt is called bunny. No idea what her real name is. I think it might be elizabeth. But not sure. We've always known her as auntie bunny.

I like it, but maybe not as a "real" name.

MackerelOfFact · 15/09/2014 23:50

When I was about 5 I remember by Grandma casually mentioning in conversation Bunny, Teddy and Dolly who were members of the bowls club.

She didn't understand why I always begged to go with her, but one day she took me along. I was SO excited.

I cannot tell you how utterly disappointed I was when I discovered that they were just a bunch of old people and not the magical toys of my imagination.

That said, I don't think it's too bad!
