What do you think? Too much? I like it but DH is yet to come round to the idea.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
IHeartLockhart · 13/09/2014 23:07

Reminds me of brambley hedge but I doubt many would make that association.
It's nice, if a bit twee.

What does your DH like?

Theas18 · 13/09/2014 23:07

Like it. She's probably going to end up as Rosie at least to her mates.

ThursdayLast · 13/09/2014 23:08

First thought - Hunger Games
That won't last though, and wouldn't out me off anyway. I like it.

WhispersOfWickedness · 13/09/2014 23:09

I love it! Was very close to persuading DH, we went for Rosa in the end though (which would make a good nickname, btw!)

Kaekae · 13/09/2014 23:11

DP likes Abigail. Not keen on it at all. Would compromise on that as a middle name. I also like Pearl.

Hmm, much prefer Primrose to Abigail.

I like Pearl best though.
What about Ruby?

ThursdayLast · 13/09/2014 23:14

LOVE Pearl

CordeliaClementine · 13/09/2014 23:21

I like it and love Posy as a nn.

theendoftheendoftheend · 13/09/2014 23:25

I don't like pearl or Abigail but I love primrose!

squoosh · 13/09/2014 23:58

Awful.

Frilly, fussy and twee.

squeak2392 · 14/09/2014 00:16

I love it - it's one of few names that's actually stayed on my top 10 list for a decent amount of time :)

I like Pearl in principle, but I've not seen one in real life so I don't know if it would actually work imo.

Abigail's nice, being classic. I've come across far too many unlikely Abbie/Abbeys in my time though.

SomethingAboutNothing · 14/09/2014 00:19

Love Primrose and Pearl. I like Abigail as well. You can't go wrong with any of your choices Smile

DurhamDurham · 14/09/2014 00:21

Abigail yes
Pearl maybe
Primrose awful, just awful.

Ludways · 14/09/2014 00:28

I don't like it but I wouldn't think it was a ridiculous name. A girl at work called her dd, Primrose.

GreatAuntDinah · 14/09/2014 17:50

Awful.

Benchmark · 14/09/2014 17:58

Love it!!!

I love primrose but can't stand the nicknames - especially posy. Lovely middle name.

LOVE pearl.

Abigail is dull as dishwater

Branleuse · 14/09/2014 18:06

i love it

Mintyy · 14/09/2014 18:07

Superb name. Please go for it!

goshdarnit · 14/09/2014 18:20

I love it! it reminds me of 'My naughty little sister' and her favourite doll Rosy-Primrose. Lots of lovely childhood memories for me, and you'll have a go-to story book! Grin

Leeds2 · 14/09/2014 18:33

I quite like it, but don't think I would be brave enough ever to use it! The only one I have ever known was called Prim, as her nn.

Quite like Abigail. Dislike Pearl.

Viviennemary · 14/09/2014 18:34

I like most flower names but I'm not so keen on Primrose. Can't really say why. But I love Violet and Pearl.

Floop · 14/09/2014 18:40

Awful.

I wouldn't want to label my daughter as 'prim'.

littlejohnnydory · 15/09/2014 18:44

I love Pearl!
