Ds due in two weeks - first name we've chosen is Leon, and we were going with Alexander as a middle name but having a wobble because of Leon A and LAM.

Alternative is Leon Sebastian M - what do you think?

If you prefer Alexander, I'd just go with that Smile

Unless I am missing something 'LAM' doesn't sound like a deal breaker. It's not like 'HELL' is it?

Leon Alexander sounds lovely.

It's because Leon Alexander could be known as Leon A, ie Leona...

I think you're thinking about this too much Leon Alexander is lovely.

TheWhispersOfTheGods · 13/09/2014 21:24

He'd never be known as Leon A though, only as Leon M, if there were multiple Leons in class.

Both Leon Alexander and Leon Sebastian are great - go with the one you prefer! LAM isn't a bad initial.

Hmm, I probably am over-thinking it but what about bank cards/statements? Don't they come 'first name, middle initial, last name'?

Mine and DP's are both first name surname. I don't remember the last time I was asked for my middle initial, let alone written down.

Ludways · 14/09/2014 00:24

My bank card is initial initial surname. I think Leon Alexander is fine.

Mutteroo · 14/09/2014 00:40

You can choose what's on your bank card. DH has his initials & surname while I have my first name, middle initial & surname. LAM isn't a problem & Leon Alexander and Leon Sebastian are both delightful names.

Thanks for all the positive comments Smile

I just keep seeing Leona now when I look at Leon Alexander, which is really putting me off, and I know I'm probably being silly, but I know it's there!
