Frankie for a boy

Both DP and I like this name for a boy, and although we agree we wouldn't just put Frankie on the birth certificate, we can't agree on what we WOULD put..!

Obvious ones are Francis (DP dislikes) and Frank (I dislike).

What else might work??

Id just put Frankie on the BC, but then my dd is named a shortening or either Megan or Margaret and has neither of them on the BC as we didnt like them and would never use them so they wouldnt be her name. If that makes sense.

I know a Frankie who is just Frankie. He can always use Frank when he is older of he wants.

Failing that.....Franklin?

I've got a Franklin, named because we wanted Frankie but didn't want to put it on the birth certificate. Turned out to be a good decision as we never call him Frankie!

I think Franklin's your best shot. I don't like Frank at all, but Franklin, somehow, I actually quite like.
