12 weeks pg with DC3. Girls name probably sorted. Boys much harder!

Thoughts please on:

Gabriel
Seth
Franklin
Dawson
Wyatt
Henry

Thanks in advance (I can handle honesty at this stage!)

chocolateshoes · 05/09/2014 21:07

Gabriel &Seth are lovely. Really don't like Wyatt.

guineapig1 · 05/09/2014 21:08

Henry or Serh. Gabriel at a push

PenguinsIsSleepDeprived · 05/09/2014 21:35

Honestly?

Dawson = creek. Also bad in many accents.
Franklin = Roosevelt. Nothing wrong with that. Not my favourite name.
Wyatt = Very, very American. I wouldnt' if you aren't.

Gabriel, Seth and Henry are all fine.

ralinax294 · 05/09/2014 21:45

Love Gabriel and Henry. Seth and Franklin are okay. Really not keen on Dawson and Wyatt sorry.

wizzler · 05/09/2014 22:49

Love gabriel and Seth.. others.. no!

MrsBungle · 05/09/2014 22:50

I really like Seth.

Henry is ok (but boring IMO)

I really don't like the others.

Sophronia · 06/09/2014 02:06

I like Gabriel and Henry, and Franklin is ok.

MummyBeerest · 06/09/2014 02:13

In order:

Henry
Gabriel
Seth
Franklin
Wyatt
Dawson

Coughle · 06/09/2014 03:55

Seth and Gabriel are awesome.
Henry is fine but overused IMO.

MrsTerryPratchett · 06/09/2014 04:07

Seth and Henry.

Montsti · 06/09/2014 06:25

I like Gabriel and Henry - not keen on the rest.

peggyblackett · 06/09/2014 06:47

Love Henry. Not overly keen on the others.

3pigsinblanketsandasausagerole · 06/09/2014 06:49

Henry is ok, but I think getting quite popular. Not keen on the rest! Sorry!

BalloonSlayer · 06/09/2014 07:01

Gabriel - lovely. Be aware that a LOT of people might still think it a girl's name. I recently encountered a Sunday school teacher teaching the children: "the angel Gabrielle came down and she said ..." Shock
Seth - I like this and we considered it for DC3 but I wouldn't have it because it was the name of the baby Adam and Eve had when one of their other two DCs killed the other one - and hormones got to me! Blush
Franklin - not keen on "surname" names and isn't there a kids TV series about a v dopey turtle called Franklin?
Dawson - getting VERY popular around here. I think it will turn into one of those "Your name's Dawson is it? You must have been born between 2012 and 2016" names.
Wyatt - makes me think of Wyatt Earp, cowboys, and thus rednecks
Henry - love this and v popular but I expect you know this but classic

BikeRunSki · 06/09/2014 07:05

Gabriel - love this, could have been boy's name for ds.
Seth - like. Bible story doesn't worry me. Popular though.
Henry - Classic

Applefallingfromthetree2 · 06/09/2014 07:15

Seth
Henry
Gabriel

pilates · 06/09/2014 08:39

Henry and Seth.

Don't like the others.

saffronwblue · 06/09/2014 08:43

Love Gabriel but DS thinks he dodged a bullet with it as there are certain kids who will change it to Gayboy.

Henry and Seth are great. To me, the others are like surnames.

Only1scoop · 06/09/2014 08:44

Gabriel is nice,

pilates · 06/09/2014 08:46

Yes Saffron, I was thinking the same.

birdofthenorth · 06/09/2014 15:07

Thanks all. Gabriel, Seth and Henry coming out on top, then. My issues are: Gabriel, are with poster re potential Gayboy and Gabrielle teasing; Henry, far too popular for my taste but OH likes it; Seth, love it but DN is Seb which could cause confusion.
