Today I came across a baby Steve, not Stephen, just Steve,
I'm not keen tbh but he was cute!
What do you think? not that it's any of my business

I like Stephen and Steven but not just Steve. I can't imagine a baby Steve!

GilbertBlytheWouldGetIt · 02/09/2014 01:41

It's very Dad-like. Can't picture it on a tiny baby!

Lally112 · 02/09/2014 01:46

That is a bit Hmm really. DH is Steven but gets Stevie. Even he hates getting called Steve, says it makes him sound like some middle management, Ricky Gervais the office type.

Lunastarfish · 02/09/2014 18:41

Steve the baby is awesome! However, I would go for Stephen as name and nn Steve

squeak2392 · 08/09/2014 02:14

Lol. I don't personally like Stephen, but I see it as a pretty classic name, so I have no problems with that.
Steve as a full name though? Very middle-aged. My cousin Stephen only gets called Steve as a joke. Don't think he likes it either, tbh.

I don't like either Stephen or Steve for some reason. A baby Steve just seems weird.

Vintagejazz · 09/09/2014 16:11

Stephen is nice and classical.
Steve is very '70s. The hunky guy in Jackie magazine was always called Steve, Dave or Gary.

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 09/09/2014 19:17

Aww so cute.

tmae · 09/09/2014 22:32

I quite like how it seems like such a non-baby name!

BackforGood · 09/09/2014 22:41

I like Steven/Stephen which gives him the option of 'Steve' as an adult, but I can't picture a baby/toddler 'Steve'

Still, I came across a baby 'Trevor' recently - now that's just wrong! Grin

I actually quite like it! It's traditional but different (in a good way!) Smile.
