What do you think of Remus Murdock Trenton and Alessa Mae Trenton? I'm not absolutely set on these names but I do have them written in pen for my idea's list.

I really don't like Remus. Murdock is ok, but really not keen.

Alessa is ok, not overly keen but Mae is awful. Perhaps if you used May?

All in all, I'm not overly keen, but hey, if you love them, go for it.

ralinax294 · 27/08/2014 09:13

Remus Murdock is okay. I love Alessa Mae but prefer the spelling May.

florascotia · 27/08/2014 09:41

Please excuse the question if you have a good reason (eg family name) but why Murdock and not usual Scottish spelling Murdoch?

IMHO, as earlier poster says, May is nicer than Mae.

picnicbasketcase · 27/08/2014 09:43

I don't like Remus or Murdock. Alessa Mae is alright, but I prefer Alyssa and May.

WowserBowser · 27/08/2014 09:55

I quite like remus murdock - although it seems very serious. Like a police constable's name.

Mae - hate. Pick something more original. So not grace or rose either.

manicinsomniac · 27/08/2014 12:14

I think Alessa Mae is very pretty but I really don't like Remus Murdock. I can only think of Remus Lupin from Harry Potter!

squeak2392 · 29/08/2014 21:51

Remus just makes me think of Harry Potter, but I've always liked the name. I think it goes well with Murdoch.

Alessa is beautiful. I really think the spelling of Mae is awful, but I do like May.

Delphiniumsblue · 29/08/2014 22:10

I don't like either. Why not spell May properly?

Anjou · 31/08/2014 04:36

Remus makes me think of Harry Potter too. That aside, 'Reem' is a likely nn and I really don't like the sound.

I would second Flora that it should be Murdoch (Murdock makes me think of Dandelion & Burdock Grin)

Alessa doesn't roll off the tongue. I want to say Alyssa. If I saw it written down I would assume it was misspelled.

I also agree with posters that May is a preferable spelling to Mae.

Sorry OP! I don't mean to sound negative, but those are my first thoughts. Do you have anything else on your short list so that we could make suggestions?
