Henry? William? Gus?

Help us decide! Like them all but worry Henry and William are too popular!

My favourite is William, yes it is popular but that's because it's a classic and it's gorgeous!

Gus, but as a nn for one of the aforementioned names, not as a free standing name.

I had this on my short list..he would only ever have been known as Gus, though, just full name on birth certificate in case he wanted to use it when he was older.

I have a Henry, which I love obviously, but William and Gus are fab too.

Gus! Definitely. Love Angus and Magnus and also love Fergus.

I have a William (Will) and I find although it's popular it's so traditional it's popular with all ages so there's not loads of one age IYSWIM. I know 2 other William's but one is 10 the other is 5 and DS is nearly 2. Whereas I know 3 Leo's all around the same age because it's became popular recently.

they're all nice names but I think if I were to put them in order of what I like it would be William, Henry, Gus

Gus for definite. Lots of options for longer full names if you want or just on it's own is fine.

I prefer William. Lots of nn options, also timeless and classless.

I don't want to be the one negative voice, but I really don't like Gus. Don't like the sound of it, and I definitely wouldn't use it unless as a nickname for a full name - it just seems insufficient as a full name. Also something like Angus would give another option. Also, people with lisps - and your DS could be one - would really suffer with that name.

I love Gus (though would probably use it as a nickname for Fergus)
Also love Will but not massively keen on William....Willis/Wilbert/Wilbur are other options.

I love William. I like Henry. I dislike Gus.
