Really stuck with which one i prefer - middle name would be Rose.

Oh I just love Edie. It sounds awful with my surname so we couldn't use it, but I think it's by far the prettiest of the three.

LauraChant · 20/08/2014 20:47

I like Edith best but that might be down to repeated viewings of Despicable Me.

Kantha · 20/08/2014 21:06

I think of Edie as a nn of Edith so the two go together in my mind. I think of Edith as part of the early C20 vibe.

Eden has a completely different feel to me. Much more hippy/nature inspired.

I think they both sound lovely with Rose, but you end up with two very different feeling names.

If you were to have subsequent children can you see yourself calling them things like:

Violet, Mabel, Albert,

Or

Skye, River, Rowan

We have a Daisy already if that helps.

hmm, I was going to say Edie but not sure if that goes with Daisy.

AliciaBotty · 20/08/2014 21:28

Daisy is a very pretty name and you need a pretty one to match. Edith is nice but Edie is in the same style.

Eden doesn't sound right at all.

VanitasVanitatum · 20/08/2014 21:29

Edie. Love it and Edie Rose is beautiful

aubreye · 20/08/2014 21:31

Eden or Edie, I think Edith sounds too old fashioned.

Sophronia · 20/08/2014 23:26

Edith with Edie as a nickname.

justjodie92 · 20/08/2014 23:32

Eden - I absolutely love the name Eden!

Drunkendonut · 20/08/2014 23:38

Edith is a bit too old lady for me.
Eden is lovely.
Daisy is an awesome name - you have great taste.

clary · 21/08/2014 00:07

Edith. Fabulous name Grin

Middleagedmotheroftwo · 21/08/2014 00:13

Not Eden. It's a fictitious garden, not a person's name.

londonkiwi · 21/08/2014 11:15

I love Edie, don't like either of the others.

AnnOnymity · 21/08/2014 11:18

Edie

BumpNGrind · 21/08/2014 11:21

We know we are having a DS but if we were having a DD, she would have been called Eden, it's a beautiful name. I was very surprised by how much both parents like it too they've been brutally honest about some of our other choices.

PinkGrapefruitAndCucumber · 21/08/2014 11:22

Edith.

Eden is a boys name, or a temptation.

ralinax294 · 21/08/2014 21:43

My favourite is definitely Eden. I don't mind Edith, wouldn't use Edie on it's own.

Breezy1985 · 21/08/2014 21:45

Love Eden.

If I ever have another it'll be
definitely on my girls list Smile

burgatroyd · 21/08/2014 21:48

Edie vote!

Marcipex · 21/08/2014 22:48

Eden Rose is nice.
Not keen on Edie or Edith tbh, they're so old lady.

I know two male Edens though.

Kittykatmacbill · 21/08/2014 23:19

Edith is lovely. Edie is nice as a nn (but my phone wants to autocorrect to Eddie).

Whilst Eden is really hippy and doesn't go with daisy.
