After much deliberation me and dh have narrowed it down to 2.

Eliza Rose

Which do you prefer?

Eliza or Elizabeth as a first name give more nickname possibilities than Claudia....

I just think of Dolittle and the Thornberries with Eliza.

I love Elizabeth, but Eliza I find oddly restrictive. I love all the range of NNs for Elizabeth. Rose as a MN I find very 'washy' - like 'oh, we need a middle name. Rose, that'll do.'

I'd go for Claudia Elizabeth. Beautiful name.

Claudia. Claudie is a cute nn when wee. Claudie is a full-of-personality name when grown. Plus CJ from the West Wing was amazing.

What Whispers said re Rose as a middle name, sorry. Rose and James are really lovely names but very boring and default as middle names these days. If say half the kids I know are Something Rose or Something James. Unless it means something to you (eg honouring a relative) please deviate from the norm!
