Beatrice and Florence go well together; they are similar kinds of names (classic, olde-worlde in a good way) Zara is lovely but very different; more modern sounding and precise. Is it your first child?

Florence is very popular at the moment though. I'd go for Beatrice, shortened to Bea

AliciaBotty · 16/08/2014 21:49

Zara. Beatrice is open to different pronunciations. Florence is everywhere.

Sophronia · 16/08/2014 23:04

Zara

Amy106 · 16/08/2014 23:10

I like Zara.

AuditAngel · 16/08/2014 23:34

DD1 has a best friend called Beatriz (Portugese mum)
I like Zara, but always seems dated to me.
I hate Florence. My mum's middle name and Grandmother's name.

Sorry

Zara Beatrice sounds beautiful together.

hlc123 · 17/08/2014 10:47

Zara is lovely

newpathways · 17/08/2014 10:53

Being honest, Beatrice and Florence are done to death surely?

They are to these times what Chloe and Sophie were to the eighties.

ralinax294 · 17/08/2014 11:21

My favourite is Florence.

Coughle · 17/08/2014 11:26

Don't care for Florence. Love the other two.

SignYourName · 17/08/2014 11:31

They're all pretty but Beatrice stands out for me.

If you like them, it doesn't matter if they're "done to death" on a wider scale. Presumably they became popular because they're lovely names that people want to use.

Kundry · 17/08/2014 11:35

Are you very keen on the royal family?

AWombWithoutARoof · 17/08/2014 11:39

How many different ways can Beatrice be pronounced?

I love Beatrice but prefer Beatrix. Florence doesn't do it for me, and I'm really not keen on Zara. It's like Amber for me, a bit Princessey.

AlpacaYourThings · 17/08/2014 11:41

Love Beatrice. Florence is also lovely.

Not keen on Zara at all.

BreezefromtheWest · 17/08/2014 11:45

Beatrice, Florence, then Zara. Love the first two and don't know any but know a few Zaras.

birdofthenorth · 17/08/2014 12:07

Zara. The other to are beautiful but more of the moment

ZeroTolerance · 18/08/2014 03:38

Zara is lovely. I find Beatrice a bit fusty and tricky to pronounce.

Florence is a place in Italy.
