I've narrowed it down to 2 names but which do you prefer?

ralinax294 · 11/08/2014 23:15

Florence.

CatFaceCrayola · 11/08/2014 23:16

Claudia is on my list :)

RainbowB7 · 11/08/2014 23:20

freyaW2014 · 11/08/2014 23:21

Florence

Sophronia · 12/08/2014 00:15

Claudia, it's less 'now' than Florence.

rachel234 · 12/08/2014 06:59

The meaning of Claudia as well as the English pronunciation as Claw-dia would put me off. I prefer Florence.

HerbieRidesAgain · 12/08/2014 11:49

Florence

TremoloGreen · 12/08/2014 11:50

Claudia - love it. Less common and better choice of nicknames :-)

thegirlwhouk · 12/08/2014 11:53

Florence. Though I really like both :-)

squoosh · 12/08/2014 16:35

Claudia.

Strongly dislike Florence.

burgatroyd · 12/08/2014 17:41

At a push Florence. I like the sound of Claudia but not the meaning which is lame

NadiaWadia · 12/08/2014 17:42

Claudia sounds elegant and pretty. Don't really get all the current love for Florence. Don't really like 'ence/ense/ance' as a name ending anyway. Would prefer Flora to Florence, but Claudia overall.

squoosh · 12/08/2014 17:44

That MN perennial Persephone means 'bearer of death' but that doesn't stop people loving it!

Lunastarfish · 12/08/2014 18:41

I love Claudia, it in my top 5. Would be my first daughter if I ever had one if it hadnt been for my damn coding calling her child it!!

Lunastarfish · 12/08/2014 18:41

Cousin

Blueberrybaby · 12/08/2014 20:45

Claudia! I have one and it's a fab name. Unlikely to get popular because some people are put off by the meaning which is why I think it lingers outside the top 200. Go for it.

MollyBdenum · 12/08/2014 20:50

Claudia.

clairemiss79 · 12/08/2014 21:01

Thanks for all your comments. j love Claudia But yes the meaning does put me off slightly.

I have a Claudia.

My name means Princess but strangely it has no bearing on my everyday life Wink

JiltedJohnsJulie · 12/08/2014 21:09

Claudia is so much nicer. The Camerons choosing Florence has put me off forever, although maybe you quite fancy being like the Camerons Smile

Squirm · 13/08/2014 00:04

Florence is everywhere and agree that it is very now.
Claudia is wonderful! !!
