Heidi, Xanthe or Matilda?

Any thoughts on these names?

Matilda, definitely. I was going to use it for a DD but never had one!

I really like all 3 but Heidi would be my choice

Aargh it's so hard to choose. I feel like it's such a responsibility and all our names are so different. It feels like they will give different starts in life, not like choosing between Amy and Emma say.

We have a Heidi matilda... A friend named her dd matilda while I was pg so that made our decision. I love it and get compliments all the time. One friend also asked if I would mind her taking the name if she had a dd which was flattering.

What about Thisbe?

Xanthe! Xanthe Xanthe Xanthe Xanthe!!! I love it. Working on DH to get it on the shortlist.

Heidi as second, its a lovely name.

Matilda is dumpy and dull imo, I have never understood it's resurgence.

Not sure about Thisbe, but thanks for the suggestion. Maybe she will just come out 'looking like' one of our names! Hears hoping.

I would go for Thisbe due to Midsummer's Night's Dream.
