Ahhh

I'm really into my 50s, dress like it ect. Dd is Taylor jade and D's is dexter james. I wasn't into vintage when I had them :(

I love the names Lottie and penny. I can imagine a pretty little girl in a big silver cross pram wearing dresses.

DDS name isn't girlie, so I want a girlie name!

Lottie Jane or Lottie June

Penny Jane or penny June?

Lottie!

Pebbles0934 · 09/08/2014 02:07

Penny Jane sounds like "penny lane" beatles song to me!

I like Lottie Jane best I think.

burgatroyd · 09/08/2014 06:42

Penny June!

How about Dixie, Lainey, Doris, Lulu?

bronya · 09/08/2014 06:44

Lottie

BlueStarsAtNight · 09/08/2014 07:02

I prefer Penny June. Penny Jane made me think of the Beatles too!

Kantha · 09/08/2014 07:35

One of the Penny options.

To me Lottie sounds much more contemporary and there will be more of them around. Penny has more of a retro feel, and I think this is what you are aiming for.

Mutteroo · 09/08/2014 10:46

Prefer Lottie. Really not keen on Penny & for the life of me, can't understand why Penelope has become so popular? Just my opinion OP & don't want to cause offence.

maggiethemagpie · 09/08/2014 11:10

Prefer Lottie. Penny isn't awful, and I'm quite a fan of longer names on the birth certificate, shorter names in real life thing so would it be Charlotte/Penelope on bc?

Sophronia · 09/08/2014 14:29

Penny June. Lottie isn't very 50s.

Floop · 09/08/2014 14:30

Penny. I'd be singing Penny Lane to her all the time!

Gingerjv · 09/08/2014 15:37

I vote for Lottie June

CrimeaRiver · 09/08/2014 15:40

Lottie Jane, for sure. Really don't like June.

What about Charlotte Penelope, then you can choose Lottie or Penny as she grows!

Montsti · 10/08/2014 13:39

I much prefer Lottie, but I would have Charlotte nn. Lottie. Charlotte Penelope is a good option so you could refer to her as Penny at a later stage if you change your mind!

ToffeeMoon · 13/08/2014 11:19

Love Penny.

LancashireTea · 13/08/2014 13:15

I adore Penelope as a girl's name but also love Lottie. Charlotte is a good one to go for though as it has a wider range of nns.
