Do our names clash or compliment?

We have a DS named Alfie and the names we have for this DC are:

Darcey for a girl
Rio for a boy (saw it on mumsnet a few months ago and I LOVE it)

I don't want opinions if you like the names, I'm just asking if you think they are too different from DS name to use them? Do they clash or compliment?

Thanks :-)

Alfie and Rio go well together.

Alfie and Darcey is ok, although I'm not keen on the matching 'eee' sound. I don't like matchy names for siblings.

I think they're fine together, as they don't especially clash. They aren't particularly complementary either though.

I don't think they either clash or compliment. But I'd go for the name you love - don't use a name you think is 'second best' just because it sounds better when said with his/her brother's name (as long as it's not a horrendous clash - which your's wouldn't be)! Couldn't care less how my name sounds with my sister's.

Alfie and Rio do sound cute together. As for Darcey, I don't think it particularly clashes or compliments Alfie really. It's certainly not too different from Alfie to use it though.

No they don't clash at all. Don't really complement either but who cares?

Agree, don't really clash or complement.
