So far it has taken us 7 months and we are yet to agree on any names for our baby boy...

I have just been informed that due to a condition I have been diagnosed with I need to be induced early which leaves us with 2 weeks to come up with a moniker for the child but my husband likes quite "out there" names (Tiberius or Osiris anyone?) and I know he's a parent too, but frankly as I am the one who will be shouting the name across a playpark etc while he is at work I refuse to entertain the idea.

So please, hit me with your best boy names and ones to avoid!

I'd flatten any man who registered our child with a name we hadn't both agreed on!

It should be law that both parents are present when the birth is registered.

When I'm PM, I shall make it so!

Hector?

Can't believe someone would go behind their partner's back like that- that's grounds for divorce!

Well, he is her ex husband now! He was a wanker in other ways too.

My dp has similar taste to yours.

We've compromised on Maximus, we can call him Max which sounds 'normal' so I'm happy but it also suits dps taste.
I'm not 100% on it so there's a possibility of it changing.

The other names on our list are:

Dexter
Cohen
Jared
Michael
and I've insisted that Abel stays on the list even though dp said he's not keen but maybe if we have a second boy in the future.

Flynn!
Mason is to near my maiden name and Edison screw light bulbs is the first thing that comes to mind for the latter.

(My childhood desk light used them, nothing else in the house did so I often had to organise new ones myself).

Flynn!

Coincidently i look after a baby Osiris who goes by Ori which I think is really sweet, and not at all out of place where I live!

How about Linus or Casper? They were on my list, but DH sadly didn't like out-there names (and we had a girl), so I didn't get to use them Sad

Flynn by a long shot.
