What does everyone think of this for a boy's name with Cy as a nn?

I know it is an old name and rarely heard, but is it nice or horrible?

I think its odd.

I like it although it does remind me of John Malkovich's evil character, Cyrus the Virus, from Con Air.

Cyrus the damn virus - yep made me think of Con Air too!

Not keen, plus everyone will associate it with Miley/Billy Ray Cyrus and assume you named him after them... also Cyrus The Virus

I like it but then DP is Persian. I'm pregnant with DC2 and it's a definite contender if we have another boy.

Weirdly Romanian gymnast from the 80s Aurelia Dobre has four boys-Darius, Marcus,Lucas and Cyrus. These names work well in many countries. Her husband is Iranian.
