Elise or Amber

DSis has just found out she's expecting a girl and is stuck between Elise and Amber. Thoughts?

Amber.

Amber is top of our list if we have a girl.

Elise is nice too but I prefer Amber.

I think they are both quite nice and Amber Elise would have a nice ring to it.

Amber has stealthily made it onto my list of late, I really like it!

I prefer Eloise to Elise personally!

To my eternal shame I am a closet teen mom fan and thus it must be Elise, please not amber. She is awful (though I realise she isn't well) and it's all I can think of now when I hear the name.

Amber. V pretty. Elise was the mom in Michael j Fox tv show Family Ties so can't shake the connection. A bit too Teutonic for my liking as well.

I'd discount Elise because there are so many e names like Elle/a/ie s around atm.
