Hi, our little girls middle name is going to be the above, but we can't decide how to spell it! Any thoughts or reasons to or not to spell it a certain way??

Sandy. The others look a bit odd IMO.

Does anyone remember that film with Sara Jessica Parker and Steve Martin, LA story. I think she spelt her name SanDeE!

Sandra

Sandy.

For me it jars when people spell simple names in a 'different' way. I always wonder why and what they're trying to say!?

busyDays · 08/07/2014 17:50

Definitely Sandy, the other two just look a bit strange.

Sandy for sure.

Are you having a puppy?

I thought Sandy was a boy name? Not that it really matters - especially for a middle name. I know a girl with the middle name Jack.

With a y would be the boys version, it's ie for a girl, or an i if you want it non traditional.

Rhubarbgarden · 09/07/2014 18:02

Sandrine?

Disagree. The stats show Sandy as being more popular for girls and this spelling also. Sandie is much rarer.
