Middle name difficulty.....

Dc2 is due in Septemer and we do not know the gender. We have a boys name set, and a middle name for a boy, but are stuck on a girls middle name. If we have a girl we are 99% sure we will name her Darcey. But are undecided and cannot seem to choose from:

Darcey Anna
or
Darcey Olivia

Opinions on which middle name sounds better greatly received but not to say you dislike the names etc x

How long is your surname? I think Darcey Olivia flows slightly better to me, but if your surname is really long then Darcey Anna might be better.

We have a 5 letter surname, really common one, starting with E. Not going to say it on here as I have friends on mumsnet but don't want to out myself x

They are both lovely, as PP said, I think Darcey Olivia flows better.

OublietteBravo · 05/07/2014 14:57

I also think that Darcey Olivia has a better flow than Darcey Anna.

Artandco · 05/07/2014 15:00

Have you considered using both?

Darcey Olivia Anna

I will go against the grain and say I prefer Darcey Anna over Darcey Olivia I think thats quite a mouthful

StillNoFuckingEyeDeer · 05/07/2014 18:45

I think Darcey Olivia flows better, but either way you've picked lovely names.

I love the name Anna but think Darcey Olivia somehow flows a bit better!
