B names

Can anyone help me out with some names beginning with B? My grandmother, mum, sister and I are all B names. DH father and brother are B's.
It wasn't planned at all. My name begins with E but always shortened to the B version and sister's name begins with R but shortened to B. I'm not usually one to follow family traditions but both DH and I agree that if we can find a B name that we love we would like to use it.

Open to any suggestions! Thanks in advance :)

I had a friend at school called Bryher after the island, good excuse for a nice holiday too!

Dont forget Bert/ie short for Albert and Robert.

CuppaHorlix · 04/07/2014 17:28

I think Bryher/Briar is lovely.

neverenoughwine I like the sound of Briany..is that just an alternate spelling to Bryony or is it a different name in itself?

I never thought of Bertie being short for Robert! My sister is Robert nn Bobbie so was going to avoid Robert/Bobby but Bertie is a nice change as a nn.

Aha, I guessed she was a Roberta, fab name!

CuppaHorlix · 04/07/2014 22:25

oops Ivy yes I meant Roberta! My sister is not Robert haha.

Posted a new thread about this, DH and I both love Bryony and Briar. Now to chose which to go for! and both still undecided on a boys name. Neither of us love any B boys names so think we may find another name we love and use B as a middle name.
