Girl number 4!

Inspiration needed please!

We already have two E names so preferably not another of those, though I like Emilia (Emmy/Millie) but am conscious of it being popular and probably always confused with Amelia.

I like Rosanna a lot.

I like (but not sure if I'm brave enough to use) Natalia (Talia) and Tamsin. I like them as adult names but not necessarily baby/child names.

Dp likes Felicity but I'm not keen. I quite like Serena and Polly but dp doesn't.

Any of these you like/hate? Any inspiration for me based on these names?

How about Susannah?

BrunoBrookesDinedAlone · 19/06/2014 23:58

Rosanna is lovely.

Sabrina?

Guin1 · 20/06/2014 02:35

I like all of your name choices, except Polly and Felicity. Natalia/Talia is lovely for a little girl. My 3 yo niece is called Tamsyn, nn Tassy, and it suits her perfectly.

BlueStarsAtNight · 20/06/2014 07:24

I really like Rosanna and Natalia/Talia, I also think the nn Tally would be really nice while she's young.

How about

Katrina
Florence
Georgia
Serena
Philippa

BlueStarsAtNight · 20/06/2014 07:25

Sorry I missed that Serena was already on your list!

Pebbles0934 · 20/06/2014 07:42

I think Emilia is too close to Amelia. Lots of Amelia's!

I don't like Natalia at all. I think it sounds a but stripper...sorry!

Serena reminds me of a witch name...?

Love Rosanna.... Very nice.

Don't mind Tamsin and Felicity and Polly are nice aswell.

CheerfulYank · 20/06/2014 08:01

I like Louisa as I think Lulu is a cute nickname. :)

Penelope with Nell or Poppy for short
Isadora
Frances

Rosanna is pretty, most of the Rose names are. I tried to convince DH to use Rosabelle as a mn for our DD but it was a no go.

She is Margaret Rose, called Maggie.

BeckaH123 · 20/06/2014 09:43

Serena is lovely.

As some people have already said, Emilia sounds a lot like Amelia and there are sooooooo many Amelias at the mo!

I know two adult Natalias and both are incredibly strong ladies (one is actually borderline scary, but definitely strong). Neither are strippers Grin

I think Polly is sweet for a little girl but can't imagine a grown woman with that name although it is making a bit of a comeback if MN is anything to go by. In 25 years' time there will probably be quite a few adult Pollys!

Other ideas:

Francesca
Claudia
Alice
Charlotte
Bethany
Elizabeth (Beth, Eliza, Lizzie)

BethanFaye · 20/06/2014 14:29

Emilia is stunning! Love this one the most from your list! Really like Felicity too.

Not keen on Rosanna but I know a Rosena 'rose-eena' (could be a nice mix of Rosanna and Serena!) Polly is ok, if a little dated.

How about: Romilly, Rosena or Hazel?

BlueChampagne · 20/06/2014 14:48

Rosanna and Rosanne are great.

How about Camilla, Clara, Miranda, Juliet, Helena or Belinda?

busyDays · 20/06/2014 16:31

I like Serena and Natalia. To me Tamsin is a very South African name. Nothing wrong with that but if I heard it I would probably assume that's where the person or their family was from.

NovemberRainbow · 20/06/2014 17:01

Natalia, is really nice.

How about Sienna?

JennyBlueWren · 20/06/2014 19:18

Tamsin shortens to Tammy which sounds like a good little girl's name.

Alita7 · 20/06/2014 23:38

I love Natalia!

devoncreamtea · 21/06/2014 08:25

I like Natalia and Tamsin - as well as your other names. You could shorten Natalia to Tilly or Tally or Natty whilst a baby, lots of possibilities with the name - and Tassy is very sweet nn for Tamsin.

4 girls! Lovely! I have 3 girls and a boy, but really expected boy to be a girl - almost fell off the bed when they said boy!!! You are in for some fantastic teenage yrs - teenage girls are fab!

manicinsomniac · 21/06/2014 10:51

Emilia - it's ok (for some reason I like it much more than Amelia which I'm really not keen on). Emmie is cute. Don't like Millie.
Rosanna - like it. Rosie is a very sweet nickname for a little girl
Natalia - lovely. Very elegant and quite unusual. Tally/Talia both nice too.
Tamsin - not keen but do think Tassy is cute as someone upthread said
Felicity - love this. It's my favourite on your list.
Serena - it's ok.
Polly - cute. Quite like it.

I'd go for Natalia if your husband can't be persuaded on Felicity.

I like Rosanna, but not Roseanne for some strange reason. I also like Rosemary and love Romy. I also love Rosina.
I like Emilia (prefer this spelling to Amelia, like Manicinsomniac).

I like Natalia but not the NN Talia.

Serena is nice but I think Sabrina has a bit more zip.
I don't like Felicity or Polly.
Polly is one of the names my mum kept on pushing on me when I was pg (5 times). It's nothing like either Bobbie/Roberta or Stacey, but they were the other two names she liked, so I associate the three.

I really, really love Tamsin -- I know one whose NN is Zin and sometimes Zinfandel.
Tassy/Tass lovely too as a NN.

I love Thomasina too ( a related name) but I think I am in a minority of one on MN...

DanyStormborn · 22/06/2014 20:43

I like Emilia (Emmy not Millie) but I agree that you shouldn't use it if you already have two E names. It will always be confused with Amelia but I wouldn't let that put me off.

I'm not keen on Rosanna. I like Rose (Nickname Rosie) or Rosa.

I love Natalia (Talia) I don't think you have to be brave to use it. I also like Tamsin. I think it is better to pick a name that you would like on an adult as they will live with the name as an adult for a lot longer than they will be children.

Felicity is okay, not one of my favourites. Serena is beautiful. I really don't like Polly.

moolive · 22/06/2014 22:37

Love Tamsin.

naturalbaby · 22/06/2014 22:39

I like Rosanna and Tamsin.
If you have two E names then do you want to match the first letter to your other DD?

DramaAlpaca · 22/06/2014 22:43

I like all your names with the exception of Polly.

Emilia is gorgeous, much nicer than Amelia, but maybe not if you have two names beginning with E already
Rosanna - I love it so much it makes me cross that I didn't have a DD!
Natalia is lovely, exotic & elegant.
Tamsin - I adore this name, & Tammy is a sweet nn
Serena is a beautiful name but Serena Williams puts me off it a bit
Felicity is very pretty, really like nn Fliss
Polly is just too cutesy for me.

weatherall · 22/06/2014 23:46

Another vote for natalia

NeeNawNora · 23/06/2014 13:24

natural that's why dp likes felicity - because other dd is also an F name.

I'd use Rosa or Anna as a nn if I had a Rosanna rather than Rosie and think it's great as a child and adult name. I don't know if Natalia makes it sound as though we have a more interesting heritage than we do as it sounds so exotic Confused I like Tamsin with nn Tassy but dp not keen. I like Lucy with nn Lulu but he doesn't like that either. Gone off of Polly! Am warming to Marianna instead and have always loved Alice.

hellymelly · 23/06/2014 13:35

I know a baby Felicity and I love the name, I think it is really pretty, the meaning is lovely, and it works on a tiny or an adult. I only like Polly as a nn, it is a pet name for Margaret isn't it? Also the Polly parrot comments must get a little wearing. Do not like Natalia, agree with the pp who said it sounds like a stripper! Unless you are russian, in which case go ahead. I prefer Natasha.

HibiscusIsland · 23/06/2014 14:24

I like all of your suggestions except Felicity
