Just looking for opinions on this name (not for me, for a friend!)

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

lostlalaloopsy · 13/06/2014 12:29

I really like it. I'm pregnant and would really like to use it, just need to convince DH now!

Choccyhobnob · 13/06/2014 12:31

Love it, just doesn't go with our surname (despite my middle name being Clare)

Nereida · 13/06/2014 13:07

Very pretty.

BeckaH123 · 13/06/2014 13:11

Groovee · 13/06/2014 13:11

Nutcracker Suite!

Lovely name.

barmybunting · 15/06/2014 21:32

catsofa · 15/06/2014 21:36

Lovely. Also works well in lots of other languages, should she ever travel.

areyoubeingserviced · 15/06/2014 21:38

Really lovely

BlueStarsAtNight · 15/06/2014 22:10

I love it, it seems very popular according to Mumsnet but I've never actually met one of any age

catsofa · 16/06/2014 22:20

I've met one, I think she's about 8 now. She is UK but it's more common in Spanish speaking countries possibly?

CaulkheadUpNorth · 16/06/2014 22:21

No.

liquidstatehasrisenagain · 17/06/2014 13:12

Love it and was in my top 3 girls names. Have a friend called Clara but she is irish and pronounces it claire-ah.

threedaystogo · 17/06/2014 16:09

It was on my list, should I have had a girl.

I imagine it has become more popular now that it's the name of Doctor Who's current companion (along with his other companions - Martha, Rose, Amelia (Amy) and... what was Catherine Tait called?)
