Sean or Henry?

Hello

I like Sean

DH likes Henry

Probably with a middle name of James or Robert or both.....

Which sounds better? DH thinks Sean is a bit common.

Surname ends in "LEY".

There are three Henry's at Rhythm Time and nine at DD's nursery. I hear Henry everywhere. I love the name Sean and the only one I know is my 31 year old cousin! I hate it when spelt Shaun or Shawn though!

Sean - I think this spelling of it is so handsome! Henry is nice but so overdone at the moment. Sean Robert or Sean James Robert / Robert James would be lovely.

I prefer Sean. Not common at all, it's the probably the most classic of Irish boys name. (although popular Irish names sometimes get tarred with the 'common' brush).

Henry is a bit hooray-ish for me.

Love Henry, can't stand Sean.

Love Henry - think Sean (any spelling of the name) is absolutely awful - sorry!

Love Henry, and even tho Sean probably goes with your surname better I would still pick Henry. Don't like Sean, I'm afraid I agree with your DH

Love Sean there's a million Henry's in every town.

Neither name particularly jumps out at me as being amazing but that's personal choice. If I had to pick it would be Sean though. I just think that Henry for a baby is such a big, grown up, name. It would take him til he was about 20 to grown into it Grin
