Due any day, but having lots of name wobbles.
Sibling is Felix. Surname is v common (hence not wanting a really really popular name).

I like Polly best. Not keen on Lois and the others are ok.

we would have had a Lara had DC been a girl. I like Louisa too. I was going to suggest Marianne. I also considered Honor, Clara and Fay. The only one I don't like on your list is Polly.

Thanks for your honesty re. Felix. I have been calling out names in the park (well, in my head but pretending to be at the park!) and it's a good test for names. Boys' names are so hard!

Louisa is lovely, as is Lara, so I think you're on to a winner either way.

I don't love Polly, but you could go all old-school and name her Mary with Polly as a nickname.

Personally I like Juliet and Lara (Larissa) better.

Bassington that's really strange, especially as DH suddenly suggested Clara yesterday out of nowhere. Can I be nosey and ask what you went for for your DS in the end? (Still don't know if this little kicker is a boy or a girl!)

Louisa is pretty, but I don't like the double s sound with Felix. Lara feels a bit plain. Lois, I do not like.
