What does everyone think to Owen?

We are currently loitering around the idea of naming our son this, however I am not 100% convinced.

Middle name would be James.

What does everyone think of when they hear the name Owen?
Is it deemed common or chavvy?
Any others that we might like along the same lines?

We've really struggled picking anything and this is the only name we've come back to.

good choice. we have one. well known, but not overly popular. definately not chavvy - its a classic name. he likes his name too.
