When you start to like a name do you suddenly see it on here all the time?!

I'm trying to avoid anything too popular/hipster/trendy and had settled on Tess/Tessa but now I keep seeing it on here all the time and am worried it might get popular!

Also developed a bit of a crush on the name Sadie at the mo which I don't remember seeing much and now it keeps popping up!

Still pretty sure we will go with Tess/Tessa but just wondering if other people have had the same experience?!

Yes but it's only because you are now more aware of it.

Also people generally like the same sort of name but the names you like May often appear on the same list of suggestions by a particular poster.

I had both Sadie and Tess on my shortlist. Lovely names.

I had Sadie and Tessa on my list 18 years ago! Maybe they are the kind of names everyone likes and considers, but not many people actually use them?

Also yes, as looki says you are just more aware of them. It's a bit like, for me, when i was pregnant for the first time every other person seemed to be as well, and there were babies swarming everywhere. Before I was pregnant I barely noticed them.
