We've just found out we're having our second girl and are calling her Beatrice. What would be a good middle name? Our dd is Imogen Rose.

DD1 is Emily Beatrice .... And she is 27. I was told I had given her an old lady's name!

I think it's beautiful and I wish I had had the guts to call her Beatrice.

MaryWestmacott · 24/04/2014 21:20

Beatrice Elizabeth
Beatrice Ruth
Beatrice Ivy
Beatrice Maria
Beatrice Catherine
Beatrice Talulah (you know it'll be great read out at her wedding...)
Beatrice Francesca

What are your/your DH's grandmothers' names? Beatrice is the sort of name that works really well with old names as middle names.

Rosieliveson · 24/04/2014 21:21

I think it sounds lovely. Creates a bit of a floral middle name theme which could be nice.

Beatrice Fern and Beatrice Willow also sounds nice ... I'm getting a bit obsessed by nature names!

drLu · 24/04/2014 22:12

I think Emily Beatrice is beautiful Electrical!! Grandmothers names .... A no go really - Ethel and Edna!!! Not that harsh as much as I loved them.

Like Elizabeth. Lily keeps the floral theme going.....

Beatrice Ivy.

I love Beatrice, it was DH's grandmother's name and we wanted to call DS1 it had he have been a girl. My mum put us off though.
