DH and I are Welsh but live in England I'm currently expecting DC 3+4(twins, boy and a girl) and we'd love to use a Welsh name but I'm not sure how accessible they would be to English people? We already have an Elen and a Tomos.

Here's my list:
Girls

Celyn
Eira
Betsan
Teleri
Mabli
Sioned
Ffion
Anwen

Boys

Gruff
Dafydd
Iolo
Iago
Macsen
Elis
Eban
Iestyn
Ieuan

Opinions/feedback would be much appreciated

please think about the continual pain of having to spell names out. i am thinking of the last boys name in particular.
i have to spell all of my name out and too many vowels can be a curse

sonlypuppyfat · 22/04/2014 19:11

Ann harad I know I've got one!

Taff in England and I'd steer clear of Dafydd and most of the I names because no one will get it right.

I'm a child of the 70s. I remember poldark very clearly and thinking that angharad (rees) was the most glamorous name in the world! I still adore it! I teach p1 and was so excited a few years ago when an Angharad applied to my school-but she didn't get in!! I was nearly as sad as her mum!!
