This has been our 'next boys name' name since we had ds1 ,nd sometimes I've regretted not already using it. But is it due to be massively popular? ( Old man chic + simon cowel)
My mum recently said to me - are u still thinking of Eric? Shame Simon cowel has rather spoilt it hasn't he?
It's also Christopher hitchens middle name which I love, and my DH is overjoyed with the cantina connection - are we just cherry picking which celebs we want to to be like and which we don't?!!
There's nothing else I like as much
Am I over thinking it?

Agree Eric is a great name. I donT see it as old man as I went to school with several Erics. It is like a Christopher to me. Pretty timeless.

If you like it, go for it!

DS has a friend called Erik, I do like that spelling too.

DevonCiderPunk · 17/04/2014 21:19

I love Eric. Had no idea Simon Cowell has one. I can't be the only one!

EyelinerQueen · 17/04/2014 21:20

Well I think it's bloody hideous but if you love it that's all that matters!

Mrswellyboot · 17/04/2014 21:20

I would go for it.
