Kieran
James
Joseph

Or

Mary
Kate
Ellen

What others would you suggest. I like Irish names but ones that are recognisable/won't cause the child to have to spell it all through their life (I have to do this and it's a pain)

Thank You

I love the Irish male name that is phonetically pronounced Donna-kar but can't remember what the proper spelling is for the life of me so I see your problem Blush

HoneyandRum · 08/04/2014 12:45

A good friend is called Cathal and he is from Birmingham, he says no one ever knows how to pronounce or say his name - even though it seems straightforward. He named his boys Simon, Michael and John-Paul.

I also know a Sean-Paul aged about 8.

Love Aidan and Charlotte. Didn't think of them. I do love the Irish names but being in UK makes it difficult.

Welly I am the same! I think of the character Kathleen Kelly in You've Got Mail. It's a family name for me with nn Kitty.
