We have 2 children Felix and Oliver and expecting a baby girl. What is the opinion of Jemima? Also any suggestions of other names? Arabella or Elizabeth are serious contenders for one of the middle names. x

I like all your choices. Jemima and Arabella are great. If you don't like names shortened I'd be a bit more wary of Elizabeth.

Oh sorry-just saw Elizabeth would be a middle name so my comment isn't relevant!

I adore jemima, would love it for this baby but doesn't of with our surname. Love Arabella too! You have fab taste in names!

Not too much a fan of Jemima. It has slavery/ post-slavery exploitation connotations in the US so is riddled with baggage for me.

sarahquilt · 07/04/2014 22:10

I like it. Reminds me of the duck but in a sweet way.

zipzap · 07/04/2014 22:12

Love Jemima. Would have loved to have used it - but had 2ds and didn't think either of them would have appreciated it Grin And my dsis then used Gemma which I think is just a bit to close so very envious of those that get to use it!

ChickenMe · 07/04/2014 23:37

Love it. It's so sweet. I like alliteration - Jemima J... But not everyone likes that

DramaAlpaca · 07/04/2014 23:41

Puddleduck!

That's meant in the nicest possible way Smile. I love Jemima, and also Arabella.

Jemima goes beautifully with your boys' names.
