Using DS1 Middle name as first name?

We stupidly used three names we could agree on for DS1 (Leo James Elliot surname)

DS2 due in 16 days and still can't decide on a name. The only names we both really like are our son's middle names. Husband vetoes nearly everything else.

Would it be stupid to go with it or would DS2 have a complex?

Opinions welcome!

I'd go with something else TBH.

Ethan
Jacob
Max
Luke
Samuel
Tobias/Toby
Harvey

No, don't do that. DS2 will think he got a 2nd best name. Hard with the second but you'll have to go back to the baby name books from scratch I'm afraid.

Leo and Max above is good
Leo and Jake
Leo and Eddie
Leo and Reuben
Leo and Guy or Gus
Leo and Alex
Leo and Ellis
Leo and Lucas

Thanks.

I made DH go through the ONS baby names 2012 (4000) and I did the same. Our 'overlap' names were 8 on total if you discount DS1's MNs

I love all of the suggestions above, husband is unbelievably picky! I might have to start a poll of the shortlist soon

Not long now and I wanted to have it sorted.

I wouldn't use DS1's middle names either. What happens if DS1 wants to use one of his middle names when he gets older? My DS1 uses his middle name now as his first name.

My suggestions are: Max, Jago, Tom, Ethan, Felix, Finlay
