Ttc #2 & looking for a middle name for a girl. What do you think of these 2 options?

Ninette says Ninette de Valois (?spelling) - ballerina

Nanette is how it's usually spelt no? Either way, nina is much better.

Ninette De Valois was her artistic name though.
She was called something completely different IRL.

Thank you all for your, erm, very honest comments!

The reason we are looking at these 2 names is that we are set on the first name, and wanted Ann for the middle name. Sadly Ann doesn't work too well as the first name ends in an M, meaning that, when said together, it could potentially sound like 'man'.

So we looked up variants of Ann, and these 2 suggestions came up (along with others, but anything beginning in A had a similar problem) I really love both names, but Ninette was a new one to me. When I saw it I thought it was beautiful & it never occurred to me that people may reference nicotine or feminine hygiene!

Still not sure I see it. Ninette de Valois came up in a google search, along with a contender on Israel's pop idol, and a Spanish film about a French girl, so it's not unheard of. Nina is lovely but I am trying to decide if it works with our last name.

Any other suggestions so it Ann derivatives?

Thanks!
