Hi ladies,

We've decided to go with Zoe for DD2's first name and our surname is also short - begins with G, think Hugh, Cary...

This means we can choose a no-holds-barred, dazzlingly beautiful middle name with hundreds of syllables if needed.

Give me the names you always ached to give your daughter but were worried would be too flowery.

Thanks, ladies - some gorgeous ideas. I'm not sure we've found the one but we've got a few months left.

Zoe Julianna...

I know a Zoe April. I know it's short and not flowery - at all - but I thought it was such a fantastic combo. And April's around the corner. Grin

Or Vespertina?

Dovahkiin · 31/03/2014 01:27

At the moment, my favorites are Zoe Davina and Zoe Joyce. Davina would be after my DF, David, who was very much not a Davina type of man, and Joyce would be after my recently deceased gran - healthy family we have :) However, DH isn't keen on either, but all the other names suggested, however beautiful, just don't really resonate with any particular significance. Sigh. I have until September to win him over or find something else.
