Which way round would you choose:

A) David Anthony
B) Anthony David

I am swaying towards A...

I think David Anthony sounds better.

The name you prefer should go first. That's what you'll call him. Isn't this obvious?

I think they are two quite different names, so agree that you need to think what first name you prefer. People so rarely use the two together?

I think it depends which works best with your surname.

Also, on whether you prefer Dave or Tony as nicknames.

I like both combinations, good classic names, but have a slight preference for David.

David Anthony - it was my Dad's name and he was lovely.

Anthony David, since I can't stand the nickname Dave.

Anthony David, imo, but then David sounds a bit dated to me and I love Anthony.

Hate Dave, so definitely Anthony David for me, but depends on which you like more. Could always wait and see which the baby looks like too.
