20 week scan

I had my 20 week scan today and delighted to report our little one appears healthy!

I found out we having a little boy. Joshua and jake had always been the boys names I wanted, my husband doesn't really like Joshua but it's definitely my first choice! Joshua or jake, that's the question?????

Jake

Jake, but with Jacob as a full name and Jake as nn.

Joshua as Jake sounds too nicknamey on it's own.

I've got a jake and am expecting number 2, if it's a boy, he will be a Joshua, so I think both are fab names!

Jake is not a nn! It is a perfectly nice, solid, name all on it's own .

I like both, but Jake a little more.

What about Joseph

My brother is called Joseph and I am not keen on using other family members names.... Think it's going to be jake.

These were our top 2 names when I was pg with ds. Somehow we ended up with a Jamie though! (James) In hindsight I think he would have made a great Jake! Wait and see what your little one suits better when he arrives. Congratulations!! x
