I met a little boy called Ace the other day. Hadn't ever considered it as a name before but he really lived up to it.
I also think Teddy is a pretty cool name.

Foxx - had a young patient by this name and everyone at work loved it

Raahh · 23/02/2014 20:26

Ike. I love Ike, i think it is a cool, strong name and would have been dd2's name ad she been a boy. Short for Isaac, for our less brave moments. Grin

Atticus - big name to live up too

TerribleMother · 24/02/2014 05:41

I have one friend with a Rocco, another friend with a Bear. They are both cool, adorable kids who really suit their names and have had nothing but positive reactions except from one set of paternal grandparents who tried to go to the registry office and register him before his mum got out of hosp with another name HmmShock.

One of my sons is called Buddy and I've had no negative (to my face) reactions.

CrispyCrochet · 24/02/2014 06:12

This thread made me happy as my LO's middle name is Rex.

First initial T. Shock

Names I've heard & thought were cool- Lennon. Hendrix. Roman.

Zeke :)

Sonny Grin

TerribleMother · 24/02/2014 08:16

I met a Sonny ten years ago, his sisters name was Daisy. Sonny had sn, and was just adorable. In 2004, those names, especially together, raised a few eyebrows, but I couldn't have chosen better names for those kids. Smile

Some amazing names here......I have never met a little boy with a comment worthy name really (I'm in Ireland and it tends to be pretty boring here name wise)

But there was a mumsnetter with two sons Rex and Cassius that always stand out in my mind as AMAZINGLY COOL names!

My son is called Eli which I think is pretty cool....but then I would Grin

LottieJenkins · 24/02/2014 11:12

Louis from 1D's Mum has had twins and called them Ernest and Doris! Grin

JohnFarleysRuskin · 24/02/2014 11:14

I don't want a cool name or a cool boy. Cool is so way down on my list of priorities.

Having said that, T. Rex is cute!

I know a dog called Digby and he's the coolest dog I know. Helpful?
Grin

My boy has the coolest boys name ever, btw. Not because its out there or unusual, just that he is such a cool little boy that his name becomes cool by association! Wink

CuntyBunty · 24/02/2014 14:10

Cool/cute: Frank, Raul, Rufus.

I called my DSs really boring boys names, Harry and Sam for various reasons. I'd have loved a little Rufus, but we had to have "baby Sam" from Tommy Zoom. I got to name my little sister so a bit of a family tradition starting I think.

CuntyBunty · 24/02/2014 14:11

Raoul, not Raul.
