How about Sarah Jane or Laura Jane for a 70/80s retro vibe. IMO Laura is a very pretty name and is my favourite of your 3.

Sarah Louisa
Jane Eloise
Laura May/Grace/Rose

I like all of them, especially Laura. I agree with the previous suggestions, Jane would work well as a middle name or Elizabeth goes nicely.

DramaAlpaca · 21/02/2014 23:41

Lovely classic names.

Agree that Elizabeth would work well as a middle name, or use Jane as a middle name for one of the others.

Laura Louise would be pretty.

Innogen · 21/02/2014 23:44

I hate them all. So 'old'. Dated, not classic.

Orangeisthenewbanana · 21/02/2014 23:46

In order of preference, Sarah, Laura then Jane.
Sarah Elizabeth
Sarah Katherine/Kate
Sarah Anne

Laura Grace
Laura Jane

RonaldMcDonald · 21/02/2014 23:58

For inescapable reasons Jane always seems like a middle name to me.
Sarah Jane is lovely
Laura Francis

mamababa · 22/02/2014 00:07

Innogen how helpful you are.

OP they are all lovely names, stylish and will stand the test of time unlike the shit people call their babies these days!!

Laura Elizabeth
Laura Grace
Sarah Jane
Sarah Louise
Jane Ruth
Jane Louise
.........

Innogen · 22/02/2014 02:59

I actually negative responses are helpful. Hearing the worst someone can say about your name, and still loving it, is a good indicator that you've found 'the one'.

In answer to the middle name questions, I'd be going for something less bland... Like Octavia, or Allegra (my DDs name).

Somehow I'm not sure my suggestions will be to the OP's taste though.

NadiaWadia · 22/02/2014 03:19

Of course they are classic!

WowserBowser · 22/02/2014 03:22

Jean

pennyapples · 24/02/2014 15:33

Of course they are classic! Isn't Sarah biblical? That kind of makes it classic surely?

I think Laura is a gorgeous name and agree Laura Louise is lovely. Or Laura Jane for that matter.

Mireio · 26/02/2014 16:53

I love Jane and Sarah, dislike Laura.

Jane Sophia, Jane Isabel, Jane Magdalene, Sarah Adelaide, Sarah Clementine, Sarah Isabel, Sarah Florence, Sarah Emily, Sarah Mabel.

IPokedABadgerWithASpoon · 26/02/2014 16:55

I was going to suggest Frances too but see somebody already has done!

flowerygirl · 26/02/2014 16:56

Jane Sophia is lovely!

The nice thing about your shortlist is they are classic names yet not common now.

SS3J · 26/02/2014 18:21

I love Laura, but less keen on the other two.
Laura Marie
Laura Belle
Laura Skye
Laura Rowen
Laura Eve
Laura Emily

SS3J · 26/02/2014 20:33

And Laura Beatrix
