George or Henry?

Hi All, DH an I have our choices down to two for our blue bump. The only issue is, one of the names is also my brothers name. I have 3 brothers and don't want to upset the other two by using this name. It's not 'after' him, we just love the name. So I just wondered which you all preferred.

The middle names are family names that we will pick no matter what we call the child (after HD's gdad and my dad). We like either:

George Kenneth Fredrick
Henry Kenneth Fredrick

What do you think?

I think if you chose your brother's name it will be assumed you named DS after him. They are both perfectly good solid traditional names but sooooo popular.
I'd probably go with Henry as George seems to be on the rise after the royal baby.

Both good names: I'd pick the one that isn't your brother's.

I love Henry. George is nice too though. Personally I wouldn't name after my brothers unless as a middle name even though one of mine does have a name that I would strongly consider if it wasn't already "taken"

I've re-read your post about George being your brother's name. I would go with Henry.

I like both but prefer Henry, I wouldn't name the same as my brother though so would really pick whichever isn't his name!

Thanks everyone for your opinions, Henry seems to be the fave. So I think at the mo, we're going with Henry.

My brother is technially Georgie on his birth cert, but everyone calls him George. I discussed it with my mother and she said that my brothers (Thomas and Charlie) may get a bit upset.

Mind you...we still have 20 weeks left, so no doubt I'll change my mind to something completly different by then.
