Gosh Beth really does work with it doesn't it? Perhaps one syllable is the way to go? I quite like Lee for a girl.
I'd avoid anything beginning with a vague vowel like Amelia or Ella.

We were having noah and ruby until 2 weeks before she was born.

Actually I have a Noah and before his little brother 'sprouted a winkle', the female name contenders were:
Marianne (Maggie for short)
Nancy

(Coincidentally all famous heroin addict names, no idea why!)

Eliza came to my mind.

But then i saw Beth and really liked that.

Noah and Marianne sounds great, imo.

Lots of things go with Noah really. Makes me think of lovely 'solid' girls names but I could also seeing it applying to more airy fairy names.
